MIAMI (CBSMiami) — A 14-year-old boy is recovering after gunfire Saturday night in Miami Gardens.
Authorities said a bullet struck the teen in the arm around 8:30 p.m. near N.W. 29th Avenue and N.W. 170th Street.
His injury was not life-threatening and is recovering at home.
An investigation is ongoing and police said they’re looking for two black males.
The shooting came just hours after a 6-year-old was shot and killed, caught in the crossfire of an apparent drive-by in Miami.
A day after, Miami-Dade Schools Superintendent Alberto Carvalho tweeted out his frustration.
